FEATURED: A Southern Wedding by Villatoro Productions!

 Villatoro Productions
We are happy to have one of our cinematic wedding previews featured on Southern Weddings Magazine's Blog

From the bride herself..

It is hard to put down in words how amazing and special our day was. For this one day, we had so many of our loved ones together in one room to celebrate our relationship and commitment. For a year and a half, with the help of our parents, especially my mother, we brainstormed, planned, and scoured through magazines and Pinterest for ideas to shape our vineyard wedding into the perfect day for us. My favorite detail was our menus. My mother had a family friend paint pictures of different scenes from our venue and then had prints made of the different images that were then used as the background for our wedding dinner menu. My favorite memories, besides seeing my husband at the end of the aisle, were my father’s toast during the reception and the reading by my father-in-law during the ceremony. My husband and I wholeheartedly agree that our day was perfect for us. It was the first day of what we hope and believe will be a long a fulfilling marriage!

What is the importance of Wedding Cinematography?

Why would you need Wedding Cinematography? from Villatoro Productions on Vimeo.

Wedding cinematography still isn't as popular as wedding photography up until this day. I still know of many weddings that go without a wedding cinematographer and only have a photographer. Or, there's also the ones who don't really care for a well done video and just have a family member do the job for them. In the Washington DC- Northern Virginia area there's MANY more photographers than there are cinematographers...so we are still gaining traction bit by bit. In this short video, our goal is simply to show the importance of having a professional wedding cinematographer during your one and special day. After you've watched it, you may decide whether our style or someone else's is the best fit for you. We shot this short film with the Canon's cinema line camera, the Canon C100, the same camera we are currently relying on for our upcoming wedding films as of June 2013. By the way...my brother and I make a special appearance at the end. We hope you enjoy the short film!

New York City Wedding!

Jake & Kate Goldbas New York Wedding Teaser from Christian Villatoro on Villatoro Productions.

Jake & Kate were two very talented young people from New York,  they were both deeply in love with music and of course, with each other. They set up a Wedding Website and I came across the Wedding Trailer section they had featured us on, and thought I'd share what they wrote:

"Finding a videographer was not easy. In fact after finding my husband, it was my second greatest search during the wedding process. I researched and interviewed and looked into over a dozen videographers. None of them made the cut. At long last, while on facebook, I noticed a friend of a friend had posted her wedding trailer. I actually cried while watching these two people I'd never met get married. I knew then and there that Christian and his brother Josh, were the videographers I'd been searching for! Brides, I can not stress enough how important having your wedding on film is. I felt like I was able to relive the most magical night of my life all over again! Life is wonderful. Love, Kate."

- A BIG Thanks from us to Kate!
